Okay, so obviously I did not complete all of the reading assigned this week. It was a tough week. Maybe even bad? Mostly, I fell behind in my Greek and Japanese Theater course - all the Noh and Kyogen readings and viewings. I’ve been feeling a sort of body-terror. I can’t quite catch my breath. The show I’ve been dramaturging opens tonight. Hopefully that will help free up some time to read. I’ve been really loving working as a dramaturg again, though, there’s something devotional and meditative about having three or four dedicated hours every day to closer watching/listening. It makes my day better. And I like being in rehearsal. It’s one of my favorite things. I had a dream this week my father shot a tiger in our back yard with a bow and arrow. The tiger was the size of a dinosaur and was attacking our house alongside a bear. I’ve been wondering about this, dramaturgically.
